Our Gotland wool is DK weight and a natural light grey colour. Available in 50g balls it’s perfect for knitting, dyeing, and crocheting.
 
Gotland’s are a Scandinavian sheep breed first brought to the UK in the 1970’s they are prized for their silvery, lustrous curls and their wool is notoriously pleasant to work with.
 
It knits on 4mm needles and is perfect for patterns that include cables and other textural stitches.

Our Gotland wool is grown on our farm in Scotland, shorn on farm, and processed in the UK. We are very conscious about keeping our carbon footprint as low as possible, and our products as local as possible.
